Advanced Settings

Fine-tune your chatbot with advanced configuration options for analytics, lead capture, notifications, and automated workflows.

Click "Advanced Settings" in the chatbot editor header to access powerful configuration options organized into four tabs:

Tip:
Enable "Auto Open Chatbot" with a 5-10 second delay to engage visitors who might not notice the chat button initially.

Lead Form Settings

  • Show Lead Form — Enable/disable the lead collection form before chat
  • Login Required — Require users to verify via OTP before chatting
  • Supported Countries for OTP — Select which countries can receive OTP verification
Note:
Requiring OTP login adds friction but ensures verified contact information. Use it when lead quality is more important than volume.

Notifications

Set up email notifications for new leads and conversation transcripts.

Notification Options

  • Send Lead via Email — Receive email when new leads are captured
  • Email Address — Where to send lead notifications
  • Send Conversation via Email — Receive chat transcripts after conversations
  • Chat Transcript Delay — Minutes to wait after chat ends before sending transcript (5-180 minutes)
Tip:
Set the transcript delay to 30+ minutes to ensure the conversation is complete before receiving the email summary.

Agentic Workflow

Configure automated workflows that execute after conversations, enabling your chatbot to take actions beyond just responding.

Workflow Settings

  • Agentic Workflow — Enable/disable automated workflows
  • Workflow Prompt — Instructions that guide the agent on how to respond and what actions to take
  • Execution Delay — Minutes to wait after conversation ends before executing workflow
  • Available MCP Servers — Connect external services via Model Context Protocol

MCP Integration

MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers extend your chatbot's capabilities by connecting to external tools and services. Configure MCP servers in Organization Settings to make them available for workflows.

Note:
Agentic workflows are an advanced feature. Test thoroughly in a staging environment before deploying to production.

Saving Settings

After making changes, click "Save Settings" at the bottom of each tab. Changes take effect immediately for new conversations.
