Out of Office Message Generator

A useful out-of-office message answers three questions in as few words as possible:

1. When will I hear back? Give a date, not “as soon as possible”.
2. What if it's urgent? Name a person, email, or phone number.
3. Is there anything I can do now? A link to book, order, or find answers.

You don't need to explain why you're away. “I'm out of the office until Monday, June 8” is enough.
