The Clients page
Clients is the home page of a partner organization. At the top you'll see:
- Clients — how many you have, and your plan's limit (for example, "4 of 10")
- Credits used this period — across all clients
- Shared credit pool — credits still available to every client
Below is a table of your clients with their chatbot count, members, credits used and status (Active or Paused). Use the search box to find a client by name.
Adding a client
Partner Owners and Admins can add clients.
- On the Clients page, click "Add client"
- Enter the client name, for example "Acme Dental"
- Optionally, turn on "Invite someone from the client now" and enter their email. They join the client as Admin, can manage the client's own team, and never see your billing.
- Click "Add client"
- Choose "Open Acme Dental" to start building their first chatbot right away, or "Stay here" to keep adding clients
If the invite email couldn't be sent, the client is still created. Open the client and invite them again from its team settings. An invite stays pending until the person accepts it.
When you've used every client your plan allows, the Add client button is replaced by an upgrade link. Delete a client you no longer serve, or upgrade your plan, to add more.
Opening a client
Click "Open" on a client's row, or pick the client from the organization switcher in the top navigation. You land on that client's dashboard with a bar at the top that reads Working in Acme Dental · you're Admin here.
Everything you do now happens inside that client: chatbots, Sources, workspaces, channels, conversations, leads and settings. Click "Back to your organization" in the bar when you are done.
For a new client, start with Create a Chatbot, add their Sources, then publish it to their website or connect channels. If several of your people work on the same client, workspaces inside the client keep their projects organized.
Members of your team only see the clients they have been given. See Team Access.
Client actions
Open the ⋯ menu on a client's row. Owners and Admins see:
- Rename — change the client's display name
- Team access — choose which of your team's Members can open this client
- Pause or Resume — temporarily switch the client off
- Delete — permanently remove the client (Owner only)
Pausing a client
Pause a client when an engagement is on hold, for example while an invoice is outstanding. While a client is paused:
- Their chatbots stop answering visitors on every channel
- Their team can't sign in
- You can't open the client until you resume it
- Nothing is deleted: chatbots, Sources, conversations and leads are all kept
Choose "Resume" from the same menu to switch everything back on.
Deleting a client
Only the partner organization's Owner can delete a client. To confirm, type the client's name exactly and click "Delete client". Deleting a client frees a slot on your plan's client limit.
